These days it seems the world expects girls to grow up very fast.

Now that I have a daughter of my own  I want her to enjoy her childhood, playing at dressing up, and dressing up her dolls.  I want her to believe in herself, and know that she can be anything and anyone she wants to be. The dressmedoll collections are designed to help young girls grow their imaginations.

As a little girl myself I used to sew clothes for my own dolls and loved the colours and textures of the fabrics. As an adult I graduated from the Wellington School of Fashion and worked as a Bridal Wear Designer, Sportswear and Corporatewear.  I also lectured for five years at the Wellington School of Fashion in Design and Patternmaking. Before I discovered my passion for dolls clothes I had some success in the Benson & Hedges (now the Smokefree) fashion awards with a "Highly Commended" certificate.
